1. You Need To Write Articles

Write articles which are on topic with the theme of your website, and place these articles not only on your website or blog, but also on as many article directories as possible. Even if you are not the best writer in the world, this is something that you are very competent to do. You do not have to worry about being perfect. Just write about what you are familiar with. (ie. your business niche).

Keep your article shorter than longer. I would recommend between three-hundred and six-hundred words. Also, make sure that the information which you are giving is generally valuable to your niche. Do not make an attempt to sell whatever it is that your business is offering. The best way to make money online is through your actual website.

Remember, we are using articles to bring visitors to our websites, not make a sale right now. We want to give the reader enough information so that they are intrigued enough to come and see our website.

2. Include a Link To Your Website At The End Of Your

Since you have taken the time and exertion to create an informative article for your readers, it is only fair that you be acknowledged. Therefore, at the end of every article, it is important that you link back to your website. It is common for people to want to provide information about themselves in the resource box, then provide a link to their site. This is okay, so long as you keep it short. People generally have more of an interest in learning about what your products or services can do for them, rather than your history. Keep this in mind.

Also, the to your website should be an anchor text link. An anchor text link is one which is a keyword. Thus, if you are trying to rank for the term "make money online", this should be the anchor text of your link, which when clicked on will take the visitor to your website. The significance of doing this is that anchor text links show the search engines that your website is relevant for that keyword. Thus, your website's rankings will be higher for that keyword. 3. Add Your Articles To The Article Directories

Once you have composed your articles, submit them to the major article directories. This will enable you to get your articles distributed on as many websites as possible. Some major article directories include EzineArticles, ArticleCity, ZapContent, and Isnare. Some services like Isnare will even distribute your article for you for a fee. However, I cannot recommend that you do this as I do not have enough information on their service.

Make sure that this is one of the best strategies to bring traffic to your website, and increase your search engine rankings. However, to make money online with this strategy, you need to be consistent.
